The loss of chlorophyll. It creates such an incredible, vibrant color. It’s like the leaves are displaying the intensity of the summer sunshine and brought it to earth for us to bask in one last time before winter sets in. I love them, I can’t help but kneel on the ground as many times as needed to capture their beauty. Millions of tiny masterpieces all fluttering around and carpeting the earth for only a season. Taking time to enjoy such things makes my days so much better, it is rejuvenating.
